hello hello! i know you all kan chiong tito cannot wait to read my next post so here i am. here's an update on the complain letters.
NOKIAHi Carolyn,Hope you are in great health.I regret to hear of the issue and empathise with the situation that you are currently facing. Please let me assure you that this instance is not typical of Nokia's level of product quality as well as service quality. In regards to the reply to your previous email. An email reply have been send to you on the 22 of september 2008.In this instance, I suggest you to booked in the mobile phone to the Nokia Care Centre for further assessment. Once booked in at the Nokia Care Centre, kindly provide us with the job tracking number or the job reference number for us to investigate the mobile phone issues with the Nokia Care Centre. With the tracking number we will be able to escalate your case to the Nokia Care Centre management for their attentions. I thank you for your patience.Thank you for emailing Nokia Careline, Carolyn! If you have further enquiries, please write to us again or contact Nokia Careline at 6822 8888. We operate between the hours of 8:00am and 8:00pm EST, seven days a week. And so, being the kind hearted girl that i was, I gave Nokia another chance and sent my phone back to repair and guess what? 2 days after collecting it back, the same problems occur but now with new ones! woo! how cool is that?
so, being very pissed off, i wrote this:Hi Suba,I just collected my phone on tuesday and as early as today, the same problems occur again. But this time, with something new. My phone's screen blacked out again and this time, it activated the standby setting by itself and I had to restart my phone for it to return to normal. As I have mentioned before, I am VERY disappointed with my product and that was my last chance for Nokia to repair my phone. Thank you for your good service but your product has crossed the line of my amazement as to how many times I can send it back to get repaired but is still coming back faulty. Obviously there is nothing Nokia can do to get my phone repaired. As of now, I urge Nokia to provide compensation as I REFUSE to send my phone back for repair again. I hope to get your reply soon. My patience with your product is wearing. Thank you.
AND! after like a few more emails, Nokia had the guts to send me this:Hi Carolyn,Thank you for your reply. I am sorry to hear of the issue you are facing. Unfortunately, Nokia is not able to provide a voucher as per your request as our products are sold by Nokia Resellers. Our contract of sales is with our authorised distributors. In this instance, as the manufacturer, we assist customers by assessing and repairing mobile phones. The repairs provided also allows our technicians to replace the mobile phone if it is found to have issues which can't be resolved. As such, I would recommend allowing our technicians to assess your phone to determine what options may be provided to resolve the issue. I understand that this may be an inconvenience and I apologise for this. However, only by assessing the phone can our centre look into this to determine what may be done. For your convenience, I would recommend using our Nokia Online Booking system to book your phone into our Nokia Care Centre to avoid queuing. You can do this on our website at the address below:http://bookings.nokia.com.sg/Once your phone is booked in, we will be able to escalate your case to our Nokia Care Centre to investigate your case.I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. I wish you a good weekend.
Shameless right?! want me to send in one more time summor know! TSK! and the best thing is when i checked out that website, my phone model is not included in their list of models and I couldn't even type it in. AND! the phone model is mandatory! JACKASSES! and thus:Hi Roy,like I have said, I am very annoyed with Nokia and its services. This is going to be the LAST time i send my phone in. Please find out what is wrong with my phone. If I do not have the satisfactory reply, I will have no choice but to write to the forum. I demand to see something done about it and expect to have a satisfactory reply/compensation. Like you said, it is very inconvenient for me to go down AGAIN and AGAIN. Is it possible for you to send someone to get it from me and deliver it back when it's done? Also, there is no way I can get my appointment through the online booking system as there my phone model is not an option on your website. Please get this problem fixed as this problem is really getting on my nerves.I am really very angry about this whole situation. Reply soon. Thank you.
